Wolford Chapel Management
Luxton Chartered Surveyors Have Been Managing A Little Piece Of Canadian History – Wolford Chapel.
Wolford Chapel is located in Dunkeswell, Honiton and was formerly part of the Simcoe Estate. The chapel is the burial place of John Graves Simcoe, born in England in 1752 who after a long military career was appointed the first Lieutenant Governor of Upper Canada after commanding one of the most successful British regiments during the American Revolution.
The chapel is now owned by the Ontario Heritage Foundation, and Luxton Chartered Surveyors is responsible for the management and maintenance of this historical building including important sections of Jacobean panelling.
